Often we confuse great players for great leaders. Lebron publicly blames teammates way too often, whether it's obvious or indirect. He says one thing and then does another
Jordan wasn't nice to his teammates but not only did he keep it in the locker room, he led by example. When he got on your ass to play hard, you could look over and see him foaming at the mouth on defense in a regular season game. That's how he overachieved with his teammates (who were great, but not 2 3-peat kind of great.)
When Lebron preaches toughness and effort, but his team looks over and sees him jog back on D, not close out, flop and exaggerate pain, they're not gonna be inspired
