I am a die heart Lake fan. However, I respect Pop for his intelligence and self-awareness. Obviously he is very comfortable with himself and has intestinal fortitude to stand up for what he believes in, which is more than I can see from some of the posts here. Pop makes and defends his arguments very well. He does not resort to name calling because of a limited vocabulary. Name calling only takes a preschool thinking level. I spent over 33-years in the military fighting and caring for our war-fighter. I fought for the right of free speech for all. I do not always agree with some thinking, but my God I will and did fight for this right for all Americans. I will do it again if I have to. Many of my military friends resent the guise of equating the military with this political stance, and for good reasons. How quickly we forget the protests during the Vietnam war. There was flag burning, spitting on the flag and other despicable acts. However, no one argued whether these protesters had the right to do so. If I recall correctly, The Supreme court upheld this form of free speech under the First Amendment. We choose to ignore facts that do not support our world view and embellish those that do, even if they are not supported by any evidence. We all need to take a deep breath and try to figure what the true issues are here.
